Red Bentuangie: This unique strain is relatively new to the western Powdered Tea market and is starting to gain popularity. It is a triple fermented red leaf strain which creates a strong and bitter aroma. It is not recommended for people who are new to Powdered Tea, however, since the aroma is quite strong. Traditionally it is known for its intense and unparalleled analgesic properties. The fermentation process is similar to how ripe pu-erh tea is fermented using the “wodui” method.? The leaves are placed into piles/sacks, sprayed lightly with water and dried out. The leaves will sit for extended periods of time until the moisture is gone.
